The 2025 exhibition was another great success with twenty layouts attending. There were eleven
diverse scale/gauge combinations on show including those in 0, 0-16.5, S, P4, EM, 00, 00-9, H0, 3mm/ft finescale,
British N and 2mm/ft finescale. As always, something for everyone!
Layouts traveled from as far away as County Durham, Devon, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent,
Leicestershire, London, Somerset, South Glamorgan, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Worcestershire portraying
British, American and Lebanese standard and narrow gauge prototypes.
The show once again incorporated Scalefour Southeast, a Scalefour Society regional event,
which featured the Society's Information Stand and the Scalefour Stores, along with associated P4 layouts and demonstration stands.
We also had The 2mm Scale Association Roadshow with demonstrations, publication sales and three
layouts constructed to 2mm finescale track & wheel standards.
Twenty two members of the trade, including specialist manufacturers, had a presence at the show. This year we welcomed
four new members of the trade to the exhibition; Blacksmith Models, Branchlines, Meon Valley Models and ModelStock (ABS). Unfortunately
Dingo Servo Mounts had to withdraw from the show at short notice due to illness.
There was a display by the model engineers from the Bentley Miniature Railway as well as the popular demonstration stand 'Soldering for Beginners' by guest Roger Sawyer.
The show was very successful, with many comments being received as to the high quality of
the exhibits, the variety of trade goods on offer and the general friendliness of those taking part.
More photographs of layouts to be added soon.

Throughout the weekend the visiting public was asked what layout they thought was the "Best in Show". The
4mm/ft scale 18.2mm gauge EM layout Janes' Creek by Andrew Browne picked up the most votes and he was presented with a
special plaque for mounting on the layout. Flintfield (P4) presented by Adrian Colenutt was placed second, with Ditchling Green
(0 & 0-16.5) exhibited by Rex Davidson & Stephen Williams placed third.
Flintfield was awarded the
Keith Nock Memorial Trophy for the best layout in show as voted by exhibitors, trade and members.
